What is Winter Wish List?
Winter Wish List is a promotion
that offers not-for-profit organizations based in our territories a chance to win $5,000 grand prize or a $500 runner-up prize.
All you have to do is go to your local Main Street Connect site, register on the site, and then vote for your favorite not-for-profit
organization. Our readers will then vote for one of the organizations to determine who will win the grand prize. For a more
detailed description of Winter Wish List, please refer to our Terms of Service.
What
specific personal information will you be collecting from each registrant?
We ask for
the user’s first name, last name, zipcode and email address. Users are presented with the choice to opt in or out of
receiving email alerts of news in their town.
Where does the personal information go,
beyond Main Street Connect – do you sell your contact information to third parties?
We do not
sell or distribute any of the readers’ information.
Will my vote still count if
I “opt out” of receiving news alerts?
Yes.
When
does voting being and end?
Voting starts on December 1, 2011 and ends at midnight on January
15, 2012.
When will the winners be announced?
The winners will
be announced on or around January 16, 2012.
